Taking their inspiration from the increasingly popular Macmillan Cancer Support’s coffee mornings, the team at Farsound Aviation held their own event on 10^th October in order to raise money for the charity. Staff brought cakes in to work and raised £450 in a cake sale. A global provider of supply chain and logistics solutions for the aerospace industry, Farsound Aviation is always keen to find effective ways of supporting worthwhile causes.

There are now 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support works very hard to make sure that no one has to face it alone. With the money they raise, they provide medical, emotional, practical and financial support as well as campaigning for better cancer care – and because cancer affects more than just those facing it, the charity helps their friends and families too.

The directors and staff of Farsound Aviation are delighted to have made a contribution to the work that the nurses of Macmillan Cancer Support are doing.
